Licenses -

When you purchase an item from us, you are purchasing a license to use that item. Below are the main terms and a comparison between the Personal and Developer licenses. If you still have questions, please contact us.

TL;DR: The main difference is that a Personal license does NOT allow publishing to the App Store or Google Play; a Developer license allows publishing one app to the App Store and one app to the Google Play.

Personal License

  • Grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use the purchased item.
  • Use is restricted to personal projects; publishing to the App Store or Google Play is not permitted under this license.
  • You may use the item in work you create for your own purposes.
  • You may distribute builds via TestFlight but may not share with more than 5 TestFlight accounts.
  • Items purchased under the Personal license may not be used for client work.
  • The source code may not be redistributed or resold.
  • Licensed components included in the item must remain within the item and cannot be extracted for standalone use.
  • You may modify the item and create derivative works, subject to the terms of this license.
  • You may not sell the end product except (in specific cases) to one client; an Extended License is required for broader resale rights.

Developer License

  • Grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use the purchased item.
  • Use is restricted to a single final app (one iOS app on the App Store or Google Play).
  • You may use the item for your own projects or for one client.
  • If you deliver the source files to a client, you must delete your copy of the item.
  • The source code may not be redistributed or resold; compiled apps may be distributed on the App Store or Google Play.
  • Licensed components included in the item must remain within the item and cannot be extracted for standalone use.
  • You may modify the item and create derivative works, subject to the terms of this license.
  • You may not sell the end product except to one client; the same licensing restrictions apply to that client.

Free Updates

Free Updates provide app updates at no additional cost for one year from the date of purchase. After the first year, a renewal or new license may be required to continue receiving updates. We offer a 50% discount on renewal purchases.

Multiple Licenses

If you wish to release more than one end product on the App Store or Google Play, either purchase the template multiple times (one purchase per end product) or contact us to discuss a custom deal.
